Does the Oracle Lens (sweeper) prevent vision of a ward before you are spotted?

Main Post:

I have a quick question. If I'm running towards a bush and I have my sweeper going, will that prevent the enemy from getting any vision of me? Or, do they spot me before my sweeper disables the ward? I want to make sure when I try to set up a gank I'm not giving away the plot too quickly.

Thanks.

edit: What a weird downvote.

The range of oracle alteration is shorter than the range of a stealth ward (you can check the wiki, it says the stealth ward sees 149 range farther than the disable radius.

So the ward will spot you before it gets disabled, either because you walked into the range, or because you started the sweep after already being on top of the ward. Also, the enemy can notice that their ward is disabled, though they may be too late to know who disabled it. If you place a control ward over a wall, that would be one way to disable the ward without ever being seen.

A fresh ward will always have at least a split second of vision before being disabled. Control wards can’t be disabled by oracle or other control wards.

The point of sweeping for a gank is more to inform you that they do or don’t know yet. If you disabled a ward, you can choose to destroy it and come back later, or to go for the gank anyways.

How do you guys prevent Computer Vision Syndrome ?

Main Post:

CVS was something that would happen to me about once a year around the same time. I graduated from school last year and now it seems that it happens about every other month. I figured since I play a lot more these days. I have two acer monitors with eye care technology but they don't seem to really help as much. What are some things that I can do to help prevent cvs.

I work in IT, so I’m at a PC all day, and then game after. I ran a program called Flux on my monitors at work, and so far it’s seemed to help a ton.
